A Message from our President

The Beta Charge of Theta Delta Chi, known informally as Thumpty, was founded at Cornell on January 11th, 1870. We are proud of our long-lived and continued brotherhood from then until now, maintained through the unwavering loyalty and support of its members.

Today, our organization faces the challenge of adapting to a new environment for the Greek Community here at Cornell. We are confident that with the continued hard work of undergraduate brothers and alumni, we can continue our strong brotherhood through adherence to the principles that set us apart from other fraternities on campus.  Our emphasis to be a diverse brotherhood of individuals from all walks of life helps us keep a thriving environment at our timeless, alumni owned house. From 1870 to 2011, Theta Delta Chi has been a place that welcomes new brothers and old into the everlasting bonds of a unique and treasured brotherhood.

A few years ago, our house was featured on CU Cribs by Slope Media. In the following video, Josh Stansfield '11 gives you a virtual tour of Beta Charge at Cornell. Enjoy!
