Philanthropy

Thumpty Nation has been extremely active with different philanthropy projects over the last year.  With the assistance of the Spectemur Agendo Foundation, we’ve been able to host a series of charity concerts that have benefited multiple causes.  These concerts have such organizations as Teach For America and Conscious Alliance.  We’ve also been a regular participant in a can recycling program that goes to benefit the Help Haiti Missions and the Cornell branch of Project Hope. 

Each can recycled for these organizations generates a donation of 2 Haitian Goudes, which is enough currency to provide a meal for a Haitian child orphaned by their recent natural disasters.  Through our efforts, Thumpty was able to place 3rd in the University and Community Relations Challenge, which gauges philanthropy over a semester.  If you have any questions about our philanthropy activities, please contact our Philanthropy Chair listed under the Contact page.
