We welcome students of any background to join us in recruitment. We pride ourselves on the diversity of our brotherhood, and our charge encourages the individuality and personal growth of every brother. It is the duty of every member of Theta Delta Chi to improve himself intellectually, morally, and socially through friendship.
If you are interested in participating in our fall or spring recruitment, please attend one of our open recruitment or social events and get to know us. We participate in all IFC recruitment events which can be found on the IFC Website.

YOUR NEW HOME
New Member Education
The purpose of our new member education process is to foster unity in diversity and to learn the history, traditions, and values of the Beta Charge and Theta Delta Chi International Fraternity. Through our four week long education process, new members learn to build career paths and experience through our leadership and philanthropy opportunities, meet with our alumni, and gain new friends for life.
What is the time commitment of the New Member Education process and what does it entail?
The New Member Education process lasts only 4 weeks and brothers estimate it to be equivalent to a 1-2 credit class at Cornell. Furthermore, we operate on a flexible schedule and always put the academic success of our members first through encouragement and mentorship. Finally, we never haze our incoming members. Every aspect of the process is designed to be constructive not only for the individual, but for the house as a whole.
How much does it cost to live in the house or be on our meal plan?
For nearly $1500 less than the cost of Cornell’s dorms you can live in a gorgeous mansion with a live-in chef, just across the street from the Arts Quad and Slope. In addition, we offer numerous scholarships, including six $500 scholarships each semester and one $1000 award per year. See the table below for our semesterly costs compared to Cornell’s living expenses.
